My TP-Link Archer T2U (MT7610U) adapter is causing me problems. I'm running Windows 10, and the computer doesn't detect the adapter when I plug it in. The usual green light on the device is also off.
The hardware ID is as follows: Vendor ID: 1687, Device ID: 7214.
I downloaded and installed the Windows 10 drivers from TP-Link's official website. Installation finished without errors, but my system still fails to recognize the adapter, and the indicator light remains dark.
The Device Manager shows no errors under "Unknown Device" or "Network Adapter." It seems as though the computer completely ignores the hardware.
I've tested different USB ports, with the same result each time. I cannot currently test it on another computer.
I need the correct driver to use this adapter successfully on Windows 10. Can anyone suggest a reliable driver, preferably from TP-Link's website or a trustworthy online forum? Is using a tool like Driver Identifier a safe bet?
